SINGAPORE

The best stop for the Asian connection with the best airport, airline (Singapore Air) which has the best plane (the A380) with the best seat (middle suites).

Ideally you want to spend at least one night, maybe two depending on the times of your connections and you won’t do better than staying at the Fullerton Bay in the new, more developed area of Singapore. Or if you need to stay on the other side for business, then the St. Regis will do. (If you do stay at the SR, try the pecking duck at the nearby Four Seasons Hotel)

Not to be missed is the best Japanese restaurant outside Tokyo Shinjo by Kanesaka within walking distance at the Raffles hotel. When making the booking, Make sure to ask for Omakase of sushi and sashimi and don’t be surprised by the bill. Another restaurant that you can ́t miss is Pollen on the famous Sentosa Gardens, followed by a must do tour of the amazing Gardens and waterfall.

If you still have time dinner at Waku Ghin, on the Vegas type Marina Bay Sands is as fancy as it gets with focus on the best quality products: think of Uni, Caviar, Wayu, Langoustines… and again don’t be surprised by the bill. If you fancy a nice dim sum try the Ritz Carton ́s Summer Pavilion.
